On the 22nd of April, 2020 my partner Ariel Galimard told me that his mother’s friend Catherine had passed away after long illness. He was volunteering his time making illustrations based on photos of Catherine and her loved ones, as memorial gifts. Once the illustration project was finished, his mother, Claire Jacob, had a vision for those illustrations in a calendar format. Something she could gift those most close to Catherine to remember her by.
I offered to do the graphic design for this project, so it would be done professionally and in time for the memorial service.
